Telework/Remote Work

NYCPS implemented telework options for represented and non-represented Central employees.

Represented employees in eligible titles may participate in a telework pilot program for remote work, with approval from their supervisor and division head. Employees seeking to participate should contact their supervisors.

Non-represented employees may telework up to two (2) days per week with permission from their supervisor and division head, subject to telework terms and conditions.

If you are eligible for telework, you will be required to complete a Remote Work Acknowledgment form before you can begin teleworking. This form will be provided to you by your supervisor. You must submit the signed form, which confirms your agreement to the rules of teleworking, and have it signed by your supervisor and division head before you can begin teleworking. We will give a copy of the signed form to your Human Resources Director (HRD) and store it in your employee file.
