P.S. Art 2020:
Celebrating The Creative Spirit Of NYC Kids
Each year P.S. Art acknowledges outstanding artwork and exemplary instruction in grades pre-K to 12 through a citywide competition, exhibition and catalog. The New York City Department of Education – in partnership with Studio in a School and the Metropolitan Museum of Art - convene panels of artists, arts professionals and art educators to serve in two rounds of judging. Final selections highlight exemplary artwork and practice as they relate to the Blueprint for Teaching and Learning in Visual Arts.
This is the 13th year the exhibition is exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
For catalogs of P.S. Art work, please contact Karen Rosner, Visual Arts Coordinator (KRosner@schools.nyc.gov).
The competition is now accepting submissions (deadline February 13, 2020).
Guidelines are available in this P.S. Art Guidelines document.
